Maya is a wallet before it is anything else, and what it lets you move depends on the account tier. The tier lives in the app, so open it before you plan a casino payment. The rest of this page is the check, then the rule that changed in 2025.
Maya account limits by tier
Maya prints these as monthly figures on its account limits page, and warns that they are subject to change.

An InstaPay transfer from another bank into Maya tops out at PHP 50K each time, on any tier. Regulars do upgrade before they need a transfer, because a Basic wallet cannot send one at all.
Maya casino searches and the Lucky Games notice
Maya’s support page marks Lucky Games disabled, effective 16 August 2025. Maya gives as the reason an instruction from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas to remove links to online gambling sites. Gaming money in or out? Maya sends you to the provider, logged in with your registered mobile number.

Maya at the cashier: what the lobby shows
Nothing, signed out. The help pages mention bank accounts and an “E-Wallet o Bank Account” binding step, and no wallet brand; records stay viewable for 30 days. The cashier lists the real methods once you log in, and the minimum deposit page says where to read the amounts that go with them.
Fees and the PHP 10 bank hop
Maya bills PHP 10 for each InstaPay send that reaches another local bank. For PESONet from Maya the minimum is PHP 100 and the ceiling PHP 300,000 per transfer, within PHP 1,000,000 a day. The small detail: Maya says it does not ask for passwords, full card numbers or one-time PINs, and an upgrade is always free. A chat contact who asks for any of those is not Maya.
How to Get Started

Open your tier in the app
Go to your profile button, then Account Limits. Write down the wallet balance monthly limit and whether Bank Transfer shows as available.

Upgrade before you need the room
Upgrading is free and not compulsory. Maya asks for a video selfie and a valid ID, and confirms approval by SMS within 24 hours.

Start every payment from the cashier
Sign in at the address you typed, open the cashier and pay only through the screen it opens. Maya has no casino shortcut to start from.
