Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. The ceiling GCash quotes refers to the balance held at any one moment. Setting the two side by side proves nothing, however routinely it is done, because each measures something different.

Recorded 2026-09, the figures here are point-in-time. Limits and fees get revised by payment providers without notice, which leaves the provider’s own page as the only current source.

Verification tiers

  • Basic — A wallet limit of PHP 50,000 a month, with daily purchases also capped at PHP 50,000. Neither InstaPay bank transfers nor sending to another Maya user is available at this tier
  • Upgraded — A valid ID, a verified address and a video selfie are required. A monthly wallet limit of PHP 100,000, daily purchases to PHP 100,000, sends to another Maya user capped at PHP 20,000 each and PHP 100,000 a day, and InstaPay out limited to PHP 50,000 daily against PHP 100,000 monthly
  • Super Users — A monthly wallet limit of PHP 500,000, with daily purchase and send limits each at PHP 500,000. What qualifies an account for this tier goes unpublished by Maya
  • Ultimate Users — A monthly wallet limit of PHP 5,000,000, with daily purchase and send limits each at PHP 5,000,000. What qualifies an account for this tier goes unpublished by Maya

The published ceiling of From PHP 50,000 at Basic it runs to PHP 100,000 a month once Upgraded, then PHP 500,000 for Super Users and PHP 5,000,000 for Ultimate Users applies to the tier stated above, not to every account.

How fast money actually moves

Maya settles real time on wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay transfers, with PESONet settling the same banking day. The rail is what that describes, not the casino: a withdrawal can sit under an operator’s own review long before Maya sees it, and that review is usually where the waiting comes from.

A per-transaction cap of At the Upgraded tier, sending to another Maya user is capped at PHP 20,000 a transaction while InstaPay transfers out are held to PHP 50,000 a day applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.

What Maya says about gambling transactions

Reading Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions directly turns up no gambling clause at all — what is there are general prohibitions covering illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches. Restricted transactions under its CREDIT CARD terms — a distinct product — do name ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’, with the card facing suspension or cancellation as a result. BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 covered Maya too in August 2025, and in-app gambling and gaming links were taken out in response. Keeping the two products apart matters, since a restriction sitting in a credit card agreement does not bind the wallet.
